CHICAGO MED

I loved this job. I just got back from two and half weeks in Chicago. I loved seeing the February snow and walking along the river, seeing shows and the amazing art and working on this episode. It was a lot of work. I researched the shit out of my character -- I played a man in a dissociative state, who was also a hoarder dealing with a mass shooting. We started shooting right after the florida shooting at Stoneman Douglas. It was the first time doing television that I felt like we were doing something that mattered -- that had some hint of social relevance. All of my scenes were Oliver Platt, who I learned a lot from working on our scenes together. He is a legend for good reasons. He is so smart and asks just a million questions. I loved working with him. Our director, Charles Carroll had a lot on his plate and got great performances out of everyone and I think this episode will be very tough to watch for good reasons.
